Inside our facility, you will see many different kinds of machinery. Our primary production machines are roll mills, compression presses, cryogenic deflashing devices and automated machinery for parts finishing.

Roll mills are used to freshen the stock. It disburses the ingredients in the compounds. We can add chemicals to the mix to harden or soften a stock, enhance the bonds or do many other things. The raw rubber is put in as a "pig" and comes out as a sheet. The sheet can be gauged in thickness to make for efficient molding.

We have 18 presses. These are the machines that actually make the parts. Molds are placed between the electrically heated platens. The presses close and under heat and pressure, the rubber cures into its final vulcanized form. Parts are stripped from the mold and the process repeats.

We have several dedicated robots for finishing high volume parts. The robots are designed and built by the engineering staff at Rocky Mtn. Rubber. This particular robot trims 3 different but similar parts. It is fully automatic and other than cleaning it once a day, runs unattended.
